Weekly Torah Portion – Terumah

EXODUS 25:1–27:16

A series of 54 images, each representing one of the 54 sidrot (weekly Torah portions).

​

Inspired by the shape of the jars containing the Dead Sea Scrolls, each image contains every word of the sidrah (Torah portion) represented in its Gematriart colour. The length of each wave indicates the proportional length of the word it represents.

​

The thickness of each wave, is calculated so that the longest sidrah fills the jar – conveying the comparative length of each sidrah. Repetitive phrases are also evident from the colour sequences.
